Observations/Finding

As requested, our AS Engineering & Consulting (ASEC) representative was on site to observe site activities:
Upon arrival, the contractor began the laying of pipe.  The contractor proceeded to work on manhole A0 to manhole D1 according to project specifications.
The contractor excavated to a depth of 20 feet (with proper sloping).  Ground water was encountered between a depth of 13′ to 20′ below grade.  Mr. Ram Mogulla of ASEC recommended the placement of additional #57 stone to stabilize the subgrade prior to pipe and backfill placement. The contractor has been laying pipe for most of the day.
