Concrete Placement Information

Location(S):
Testing: A Set of concrete specimens (4 Cylinders per set) were cast during the cast-in-place concrete pour at the above referenced location, in accordance with ASTM C31. The cylinders will remain on site for the initial 24-48 hrs curing.

A Sets of concrete cylinders/ 4 cylinders per set were picked up & transported to AS Engineering and Consulting LLC (ASEC) for curing and testing in accordance with ASTM C39, C670/1231

Remarks: The undersigned arrived on site, as requested, to observe: 1: The placement of 45 cubic yards of Class A C-ASH concrete for Sida Wall, from STA 12+75 to STA 14+50, and sample location from STA 14+00 to STA 14+50 (bottom half). The required test limits were determined to be a slump of 3 inches, batch to placement time of 0-90 minutes, air content 2.5 to 6% and concrete temperature ranged of 55-95 degrees Fahrenheit. Concrete observed on this date appeared to be placed in compliance with project specifications with regard to temperature, slump, air content, and batch to placement time. The following samples were obtained for compressive strength testing in our laboratory: Set A: 1 set of 4 lab cylinders (Class A) for Sida Wall
