A request was made for a Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP) test to be performed at the far east slabs at the CW Matthews Asphalt plant at Mulberry Rock Rd in Dallas, Georgia.  These two pads are for the 10K gallon fuel tank, 20K gallon oil tank, and two (2) 35K gallon AC tanks.  The area measured approximately 22 feet x 25 feet.  A two-foot depth had been excavated and 12 inches of Graded Aggregate Base (GAB) had been placed and compacted.

1st foot – Not tested – Graded Aggregate Base installed (GAB)

1 – 15 blows- Visually identified as a brown silty sand (Micaceous)

2 – 13 blows – Visually identified as a brown Silty Sand with trace organic materials
