Concrete Placement Information

Location(S):
Testing: 2 Set of concrete specimens (4 Cylinders per set) were cast during the cast-in-place concrete pour at the above referenced location, in accordance with ASTM C31. The cylinders will remain on site for the initial 24-48 hrs curing.

Remarks: As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services, visual observation techniques were employed to assure compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day. No concrete specifications were given. Test results were forwarded to on-site personnel. (photos of tickets/locations are available on request). Concern of the excessive high slump was communicated with the on-site foreman. Cylinders were made and stored in a heated work trailer. The concrete test cylinders were transported to the CW Matthews airport lab the next day. It is our understanding that CW Matthews will perform the concrete compression tests on the specimens.
