Observations/Finding
AS ENGINEERING AND CONSULTING, LLC (ASEC) representative Vidal Dias visited the site at the request of Jackson Demolition representative Josh Kelly. The undersigned representative was present to monitor, verify and document the ongoing project activities.
During the visit, the following observations were made:
- The contractor received thirty-nine (39) loads of fill material and placed it in area H8 of the basement. Fill was placed in accordance with ITP-001. Material was placed in 2 foot lifts as part of the planned bridge lift. No testing was performed on this day at the lift was not ready to be assessed.
- Steel plates were placed to screen the HDPE pipe openings in the north and south trenches in accordance with ITP-012.
- Riprap was placed adjacent to the steel plates in both trenches.

Steel plates cover the pipe opening in the south trench. Four 5" - 6" holes were cut in steel to facilitate water flow and prevent rip rap from migrating into drains.
