Observations/Finding
Our AS ENGINEERING AND CONSULTING, LLC (ASEC) representative Vidal Dias visited the site at the request of Jackson Demolition representative Josh Kelly. The undersigned representative was present to observe, verify and document the ongoing project activities. (Reference drawing E720661 S1 – R5 & E720659 S1-R5.)
During the visit, the following observations were made:
- One thousand five hundred (1500) square feet of fabric was placed along the top of the eastern retaining wall in sections H6 & G6 (drawing E720659 S1-R5) and section A6 (drawing E720661 S1 – R5).
- Six (6) concrete blocks were placed approximately six (6) feet from the edge of the retaining wall in section H6 (drawing E720659 S1-R5.), The blocks are highlighted as yellow rectangles on the drawing.
- Rip-Rap was placed atop the fabric in accordance with ITP-003. The area is highlighted in red on the drawing. Stones that toppled over the wall during placement were recovered after completion.
- One hundred sixty-two (162) cubic yards of fill material (9 loads) were placed along the east boundary of section F6 to construct the slope. The slope extends approximately ten (10) feet into section F5. The area is highlighted in purple on the drawing.
- Three hundred forty-two (342) cubic yards of fill material were placed in the basement, according to ITP-001.
