Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative noted above, for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services, visual observation techniques were employed to assure compliance with project drawing/specifications.

A request was made for soil density testing for the backfilling of the installation of pipe for fiber cables.  Kerri the foreman with BBH was onsite.  All work was performed within a 2-foot deep trench located behind the Technical Campus.  The trench had previously been filled with concrete.  M10 sand, with a Density-Moisture ratio (proctor) with an optimum of 122.6 Dry Density (DD) and 10.8% Moisture (M) was used.   The lifts were placed in 6-8 inches and compacted with a trench packer.

No further observations were made.
