Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative noted above, for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services, visual observation techniques were employed to assure compliance with project drawing/specifications.

A request was made to test the clubhouse parking lot with a 2nd proof-roll.  Remediation from the previous day (including 2 lifts) was not observed.  Upon placing approximately 18 inches of crushed stone, a loaded tandem axel dump truck was used for the proof-roll.  Significant movement was still observed throughout the parking lot area.  A recommendation by Ram Mogulla, ASEC PE, of using textile fabric was given.  DRH elected to not follow the recommendation.  Asphalt paving started without any remediation.
