Observations/Finding

Our AS Engineering & Consulting, LLC representative was on site to visually inspect the footings for the following residential lots:

Lot #72 Pod13 and Lot #76 Pod13

Foundation requirement = 2000 psf

L72P13F (Northside) SFB=11 blows

Depth = 1 foot = Light brown/red sandy silt-17 blows

Depth = 2 feet = ”                        “-15 blows

Depth = 3 feet = Brown sandy silt mica-16 blows

Depth = 4 feet = ”                      “-15 blows

L72P13B (Southside) SB=10 blows

Depth = 1 foot = hit rock @ depth of 6″

Depth = 1 foot =Brown sandy silt mica-13 blows

Depth = 2 feet = ”                  “-15 blows

Depth = 3 feet = Light/Dark brown sandy silt mica-14 blows

Depth = 4 feet = ”                   “-12.5 blows

Two (2) sections of the footings were found to display soft soils in a 1-foot section.

In-place rebar was found to meet job specifications for size, spacing and quantity.

In-place rebar was found to meet job specifications for size, spacing and quantity.

Note: adjacent neighbor’s sprinkler system was spraying over onto Lot #72 Pod13.
