Observations/Finding

AS ENGINEERING AND CONSULTING, LLC (ASEC) representative Avinash Bandam visited the site at the request of Jackson Demolition representative Josh Kelly. The undersigned representative was present to monitor, verify and document the ongoing project activities. (Reference drawing E720661 S1 – R8, E720659 S1-R8.)

During the visit, the following observations were made:

  1. Two thousand two hundred and sixty-eight (2268) cubic yards of fill materials were placed for lift (22) in section 2 part 2 basement area G7 (E720659 S1-R8). The materials were placed and compacted in accordance with ITP-001, and the fill area is highlighted in brown as depicted in the attached drawing.
  2. The basement area was probed using the hand probe and three moisture density test were performed in the basement followed with a check-plug to verify the results with Proctor curve. The test locations are marked on the attached drawing.
  3. Geo-grid and geo-fabric were placed on the ramp before additional fill material was extended in that direction.  The placement of geo-grid and geo-fabric and overlaps were noted to be in accordance with ITP-005 and ITP-006.
  4. #24 stone was placed around the HDPE pipe on the south-east corner before it was covered with the geo-fabric. The placement of the aggregate and the geo-fabric materials were in accordance with ITP-003 and ITP-006.
