Observations/Finding

At the request of the client’s representative, our AS ENGINEERING AND CONSULTING, LLC (ASEC) representative visited the job site to observe the contractor’s work activities from a quality standpoint to assure compliance with project drawings/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals and conducted QC testing per the project drawings and specifications.  The following observations were made on site this shift:

The installation of the 15 inch HDPE Storm pipe was observed between MH C8.1 and C8.3, for proper installation, Good connection, Slope, Size of pipe and backfill and then assessed backfill efforts with a probe rod.

The installation appeared to be in accordance with project drawing. Please find the attached pictures of the work performed.
