Observations/Finding

At the request of the client’s representative, our AS ENGINEERING AND CONSULTING, LLC (ASEC) representative, Amin Azimi visited the job site to observe the contractor’s work activities from a quality standpoint to verify compliance with project drawings/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals and conducted QC testing per the project drawings and specifications.  The following observations were made on site this shift:

Observed the placement of LS concrete for Concourse D, location (Shown LS1 in sketch) located to the south of MH1,

The required test limits were determined to be a slump of 1/2″ to 2.1/2″, air content of 3-8 %, batch to placement time of 0-90 minutes, and concrete temperature range of 55-90 degrees Fahrenheit.

Concrete observed on this date appeared to be placed in compliance with project specifications with regard to temperature, air content, and batch to placement time.
