Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services.  Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

• Observed the removal and remediation of a soft area located between STA 14+70 to STA 15+50 of the road located west of pond 2. Placement and compaction of GAB also continued this day.
• At the time of arrival, our representative observed that work was in progress with 1-foot lifts being placed and compacted using trench compaction equipment along with general probing using a 3/8″ diameter probe rod,
