Observations/Finding

Our AS Engineering & Consulting (ASEC) representative arrived on site to observe field activities. The following tasks were performed:

Our representative was on site to perform a foundation inspection for Lot 114 Pod 14 and Lot 53 Pod 21.  Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP) testing indicated that the foundations were suitable for a soil bearing pressure of 2,000 psf.  In-place rebar was found to meet job specifications for size, spacing and quantity, however, there was one area on Lot 114 Pod 14 that was found to have overhanging rebar.  The superintendent, Robert, was notified.
