Observations/Finding

Our AS Engineering & Consulting (ASEC) representative arrived on site to observe field activities. The following tasks were performed:

Upon arrival, it was discovered that the site had encountered 1.5 inches of rain overnight and the surficial soils were found to be saturated.   Fill placement was not performed today (and no compaction testing performed).  Contractor elected to terminate grading activities today until the site dries out.
