As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative to provide quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were used to verify compliance with project drawings, specifications, applicable codes, and material submittals. The following observations were made on-site:

• The placement and compaction of riprap and No. 57 stone for the stabilization of Redi-Rock retaining wall #2 footing, from Station 1+42 to Station 2+28, continued on this day.
• The undersigned arrived on-site to observe the installation of Redi-Rock retaining wall #2 at the creek crossing. It was noted that No. 57 crushed stone was used as backfill behind the blocks and within the cells.
• Geo-grid material was installed at every course of the wall. Additionally, No. 57 stone was placed both one foot behind the block and within the cells.

At the time of the representative’s arrival, work was in progress. However, density testing was not performed as the work was not ready for testing on this day.
