Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were made on-site:
Drilling Report:
On the day prior to today, the drilling team completed four drill holes, specifically in rows 1 and 2, near the east side of the pump station location, close to the start of the proposed road south of Lot #41. This work marks the beginning of drilling activities on the west side of the manhole A1. Drilling of this area was performed in three rows approximately 6 feet apart and approximately 8 feet between each drilling location within each row.
Today, the team resumed drilling, starting from the seventh row to the south side of Lot #42 and progressing westward. They completed drilling from 7th through 2nd row then moved on to the 10th and 11th rows, skipping over rows 8 and 9.
Throughout most of the drilling locations, the team encountered rock at varying depths, with the rock typically being found around 4 to 8 feet below the surface. However, in rows 5 and 6, one of the drill holes encountered rock at the surface level. Additionally, from rows 1 through 7, groundwater was consistently found beneath the surface, with a noticeable presence of water below the 10 feet level.
These holes were drilled south of Lot #41 and #42, and west of the manhole A1 (SS MH A1).
Attached to this report you will find a layout drawing showing the approximate area where drilling was performed on this day.
