Observations/Finding

The aforementioned AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative visited the Cottages at Villa Rica site to conduct quality control inspections and testing services. Visual observation techniques were utilized to verify compliance with project drawings, specifications, applicable codes, and material submittals. The following observations were made on-site:

The drilling team inspected the area east of Lots 37 and 36 and west of Lots 120 and 121 to determine the presence of rock. If rock is encountered, its type must be identified to evaluate the land and plan the trenching pattern. Drilling in this area was conducted in three rows, with approximately 8 feet between rows and 7 feet between drilling locations within each row.

Drilling Data:

The drilling work began at manhole A2 and proceeded westward. A total of 23 holes were drilled to a depth of 17 feet. Groundwater was detected in some of the holes. All holes drilled thus far were checked at the end of the workday and remain in good condition. Since the holes have not been closed, drilling will continue the following day, as they are still viable. These lots are located west of manhole A2, along the proposed road indicated in the project plan.
