Observations/Finding

The aforementioned AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative visited the Cottages at Villa Rica site to monitor drilling and rock removal operations. The contractor performing the work was Precision Blasting. The following observations were made on-site:

Blasting Data:

Blasting operations were carried out today in the southwestern section of Lot 48, extending west of manhole A2, southward to Lot 45, and northward to Lot 124. Additionally, the lateral section at Lot 124 was blasted. The process was executed efficiently, with all blasts completed smoothly and without any complications. Overall, the operation was successful and proceeded as planned, making significant progress toward the project timeline.

A total trench area of 1,148 square feet with an average rock pay thickness of 8.27 feet was blasted today. The calculated volume of trench rock blasted was 351.62 cubic yards.

Drilling Data:

Drilling operations could not be performed today due to a technical issue with the drilling machine. Unfortunately, the problem could not be resolved in time for the scheduled work. However, the team has already arranged for a replacement drilling machine to be delivered tomorrow. Once the new equipment arrives, drilling will resume, starting from the A1 manhole and progressing southward to connect with the B1 manhole. This connection represents a critical milestone in the project, and the team is committed to minimizing delays and resuming operations promptly.
