Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services.  Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

Work has continued behind Lot #225, #226, and #227 today. The contractor has made progress in the preparation of the retaining wall foundation.

The geo-grid has been successfully installed across the excavated area and will be placed in subsequent stages of the retaining wall construction. On top of the geo-grid, a fiber sheet has been applied. Additionally, a granular base has been placed on top of the fiber sheet preparing the area for the next phases of construction.
