Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services.  Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

Our ASEC representative was on site as requested by the contractor (Wilbanks) for the observation/testing of the placement of soils. The contractor requested the technician to identify how much topsoil was present in the bank along Lots #15 through #20. The bank was estimated to be 30 feet wide x 300 feet long with the top elevation at 765.5 and bottom elevation at 756.5.

The contractor began excavating SSMH1.0B to SSMH1.1. Approximately 10 feet from SSMH1.0B 5 feet was undercut and replaced with large riprap and capped with approximately 1 foo to 1.5 feet of No. 57 stone to elevation.
