Observations/Finding

A representative from AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) conducted quality control inspection and testing at the Concourse B Grease Interceptor site. The inspection included visual observations to verify compliance with project drawings, specifications, applicable codes, and approved material submittals.

The placement of 36 cubic yards of low slump, low strength concrete was observed, and the concrete appeared to meet project specifications regarding temperature.

Subgrade compaction testing was performed using a 3/8″ diameter probe rod.

Additionally, a set of six concrete cylinders (Set A) was transferred to the WSP laboratory for strength testing.
