Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

Our ASEC representative was on site as requested to observe the continuation of proof-rolling and subgrade repairs for the roadways. The subgrade was proof-rolled using a loaded tandem dump truck making two passes over all areas which were also observed by members from Paulding County and Baldwin paving.  Deficient areas were identified, and recommendations were made for repair by undercutting, the placement of Tensor stabilization fabric and additional GAB in some of the repair areas.  See attached sketch and pictures for repair areas.
