Observations/Finding

As requested, a representative from AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) visited the site to perform quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawings/specifications, applicable codes, and approved material submittals. The following observations were made during the site visit:

The contractor prepared the slope area located to the east of Lot #92 by removing all grass, organic material, and roots to prepare a stable surface for fill placement. Following this, soils imported from an external source was delivered to the site and spread evenly across the prepared area using a dozer. In addition to the earthwork, the contractor cleaned the space between the water storage manholes using a hose to remove any accumulated debris. As part of the ongoing drainage works, the contractor also brought 8-inch corrugated HDPE “E” pipe to the site, which are intended to be used for tying in with the in the gutter downspouts to the drainage system.
