Observations/Finding

As requested, a representative from AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) visited the site to perform quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawings/specifications, applicable codes, and approved material submittals. The following observations were made during the site visit:

The contractor prepared the slope area located to the east of Lot #92 by removing all grass, organic material, and roots for a stable surface for soil placement. Some areas were too high for the dozer, so those areas were cleaned by labor using shovels. Following this, imported soil from an external source was delivered to the site and spread evenly across the prepared area and compacted using a dozer. In addition to the earthwork, the contractor cleaned the space between the water storage manholes using a hose to remove any accumulated debris.
