Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services.  Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

Our ASEC representative was on site as requested by the contractor (Wilbanks) for the observation/testing of the placement of fill/backfill. The contractor placed a mix of topsoil and structural fill across greenspace located on Lots #52 through #60. Fill was placed in approximate 8-to-12-inch lifts and rolled via a sheep-foot roller. Fill was only placed on the front yards. The building pads will be built up at a later time (to help with water control).

Wilbanks cut their crew size in half, and equipment has been breaking down, so progress has slowed. No testing was performed at this time.
