Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services.  Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

Our ASEC representative was on site as requested and observed the grading contractor continue placing fill for the building pads and roadway. Fill was placed in two locations at Lot#61 and the roadway. In both locations a thickened lift of two feet of drier soils was placed as the underlying soils was too wet. This was followed by a normal 6″ lift and compacted. Density testing was performed.  Results are attached.
