Daily Field Report
Observations/Finding
As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.
On this day, test pit investigations were conducted by the contractor on Lots #83 through #107. For each lot, a total of five test pits were excavated: one at each of the four corners and one in the center. Each pit was excavated to a depth of approximately 24 inches to assess subsurface conditions for potential rock presence and refusal concerns related to future plumbing and footing installations.
During the inspection, no refusal or obstructions were observed at the excavated depth. While rocks were encountered in several locations, they appeared to be manageable and are expected to be removable during the footing excavation process. These conditions are not expected to pose a significant issue for construction activities.
We appreciate the opportunity to be of service to you on this project. If you have any questions regarding this report, please feel free to contact us. We will be more than happy to discuss it with you.
