Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the
purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were
employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials
submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

Our ASEC representative was on site as requested by the contractor for the inspection/testing of mono slabs and footings. Lot 84 pod 21 had 2 areas of low compaction via probe rod testing. These areas were recommended to excavate 1ft and fill with extra concrete. DCP testing was preformed and the lot passed inspection. The contractor was notified about the excavation areas. Once this is completed, the lot is ready for pour.

Lot 146 pod 14 passed DCP and probe rod testing. This lot appeared to not be fully prepped. The rebar and shoring have not been fully installed. The contractor was notified that the lot passed testing, but it hasn’t been fully prepped. Once this is completed, the lot will be ready for pour.

Lot 86 pod 21 passed DCP and probe rod testing. This lot appears to be prepped and ready for pour. The contractor was notified with results.
