Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials
submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

Our ASEC representative was on site by (NG Grading) for the observation/testing of the placement of fill/backfill.

The contractor continued placing approximately 6-inch lifts in the deceleration lane located by the main entrance. The soil lifts were spread using GPS on a dozer and rolled with a sheep-foot roller. Density testing was performed, and all test results were provided to the contractor. Any failed testing areas were retested after the contractor rerolled the section again.

A controlled blast was conducted in the Northwest retention pond. The blast was for the holes drilled on the previous workday. No incidents occurred.
