Daily Field Report
Observations/Finding
As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals.
Upon arrival at the site, a meeting was held with Rick, the grading foreman from Thompson Grading. Rick reported that excavation work was currently underway in one area to construct a temporary access road. This road is intended to allow off-road dump trucks to reach designated lot locations more efficiently.
Rick further stated that over the next one to two days, crews will be focusing on grading work on slopes and constructing a detention pond.
Additionally, Rick mentioned that the permanent access road to Pod #3 will need to be cleared by a separate contractor as well as grinding trees in the center of Pod #3.
A separate meeting was also held with Jason, the temporary foreman. Jason (for the blasting company) confirmed that no drilling operations would be taking place today. (See attached photo for site condition.)
