Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

Our ASEC representative was on site for the observation/testing of the placement of fill/backfill. Upon arrival to the site, subgrade soils were found to be visually too wet for the placement of fill today. The entrance was blocked by the contractors’ vehicles and our ASEC representative was unable to pull into the site. It was sprinkling (rain) outside and the pond by the entrance was filled with water. Our representative took pictures and left the site for the day.

Our ASEC representative reached out to Tyler (Foreman with NG Grading) and asked to be notified when they plan to start placing fill again so our representative can be onsite. There is rain in the forecast for the next few workdays, and it does not seem necessary for our representative to make any further site visits at this time.

We appreciate the opportunity to be of service to you on this project. If you have any questions regarding this report, please feel free to contact us. We will be more than happy to discuss it with you.
