Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials
submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

Our ASEC representative was on site for the observation/testing of the placement of concrete. Our representative met with CWM at the batch plant. Due to a computer being stolen, CWM spent most of the day fixing and updating software for the batch plant. Our representative performed multiple tests on the mix to help CWM determine if the batch plant was responding correctly to the software. By the midafternoon, the situation appeared to be resolved, and concrete was transported to the pour location by the rest area. All test results were provided to the contractor, and a set of 4 cylinders were made (as requested by CWM). The cylinders were stored onsite until the following day for transport to the CWM batch plant lab.
