Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services.  Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

On the above date our representative observed the curb contractor begin subgrade prep and the installation of 24″ curbing at roadway to phase 1B. The contractor plans to pour approximately 80 cubic yards of 3000 psi concrete for 1500 linear feet at Lots #26 thru #6. The writer also observed subgrade prep for curbing at phase 1A recommending compaction of loose graded soils. The curb mix was placed with a curbing auger machine. The slump placement was 1.5″ with 10 cubic yards per truck.
