Daily Field Report
Observations/Finding
As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.
On the above date our representative observed the grading contractor complete subgrade prep at Nature Walk parkway between sanitary sewer manhole structures #4 and #9. The subgrade was observed by watching grading equipment travel over undercut areas and probed using a rounded end steel rod. Areas of concern around manhole structures were recommended for additional compacting efforts. Subgrade areas appear to be suitable to setup proof-roll for base rock placement. The utility contractor onsite today began installation of 12″ PVC sanitary sewer line between manhole structures #5 and #4. The pipe observed was bedded on #57 stone and placed also at the sides. The blasting contractor was onsite and continued drilling on Nature Walk parkway between sanitary sewer manholes #10 and #11. Also, the grading contractor continued fill placement at slope embankment phase 2 extension.
We appreciate the opportunity to be of service to you on this project. If you have any questions regarding this report, please feel free to contact us. We will be more than happy to discuss it with you.
