Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services.  Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

Our representative was on site to observe site conditions at Parkway Ext Phase 2 for base stone placement following a rain event. There was no standing water on the subgrade, however, subgrade soils were saturated where base stone was to be placed today. The grading contractor however continued rockfill placement at the slope embankment. The fill was placed in recommended compacted lift thickness as is suitable for site requirements.
