Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

On the above date our representative was on site to observe the grading contractor continue to place fill for the slope embankment. The contractor placed rock fill across th eslope embankment and begin to cover voided areas with loose soil fill. The fill placement was placed in suitable compacted lifts being spread with a dozer and compacted using a vibratory sheep-foot roller and an 815 cat roller. Fill placement observed was in compliance with recommended placement specifications. Elevations observed of fill placement across the slope embankment area was 857.0, 851.0 and 852.0.
