Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

On the above date our representative was on site to observe the grading contractor continue the placement of rockfill and topsoil for the slope embankment. The fill was placed in suitable compacted lifts. The elevation of observed fill placement across the slope embankment was 860.0, 854.0 and 855.0. The pipe contractor was also on site and begin excavation to tie-in to sanitary sewer manhole #9. During excavation heavy rock is encountered. No pipe was laid on today.
