Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials
submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

Our ASEC representative was on site to observe the contractor (NG Grading) and for the observation/testing of the placement of fill/backfill.

The contractor installed soil lifts of approximately 6 to 8 inches in size across the commercial lot by the front pond and Lots #8 through #13 and #52 through #60. The contractor is benching into the natural slope approximately every 2ft x 2ft. The lifts were compacted using a sheep-foot roller.

Our representative watched as loaded off road trucks rolled across the lifts to check for stability. There were no signs of severe pumping/deflection present, and the lifts appeared to be stable. Density testing was performed, and test results were provided to the contractor.

The 2nd detention pond located in the back of the site has been grassed.
