Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials
submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

Our ASEC representative was on site to observe the contractor (NG Grading) and for the observation/testing of the placement of fill/backfill. The contractor continued placing soil lifts of approximately 8 to 12 inches in size across the Lots #14 through #26 area. Lots #20 through #26 are approaching final grade, while Lots #14 through #19 have approximately 10 to 15 feet of fill remaining. Fill was compacted using a sheep-foot roller. ASEC watched as loaded off road trucks rolled across the lift to check for stability. Any pumping that was present was addressed by the contractor. Density testing was performed, and all test results were provided to the contractor.

Pipe crew continued installing storm line along the greenspace located by the front entrance and deceleration lane.

The wall crew was scheduled to be on site today but did not show up. DCP testing for footing will be performed tomorrow using the automated DCP.
