Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services.  Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

On the above date our representative was on site to observe the grading contractor continue to place fill for the cul de sac basement lots. The writer performed density tests on compacted fill using a Troxler Nuclear gauge model 3430, serial no. 91643 at elevations 876 and 877.  Compaction results were in compliance with job specifications. The writer also observed the contractor stripping topsoil and boulder rock debris from building lots to receive additional fill at Naturewalk Unit 4 – Phase 2. The observed areas were approved for fill placement with recommendations made to place boulder rock fill in deep fill areas with continued approved observation.
