Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services.  Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

On the above date our representative was on site to observe backfilling of the 48″ RCP storm line between the OCS and headwall#3 at Unit 4 phase 2 water quality pond, performing density tests using a Troxler Nuclear gauge model 3430, serial no. 91643. The writer observed the anti-seep collars in place prior to backfilling which appeared to be in compliance with site documents. Compaction results were in compliance with job specifications.
