Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials
submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

On this day, no fill operations were performed due to safety concerns observed on site. Earthwork activities were temporarily suspended to address the identified issues and ensure compliance with site safety requirements. The contractor was notified, and corrective measures are to be implemented prior to resuming fill placement activities.

It was observed that an open excavated area remains within the work zone. For safety and stabilization purposes, this area should be backfilled prior to continuing structural fill operations. The contractor was recommended to properly fill and compact the excavation to eliminate potential hazards and prevent water accumulation, especially with anticipated rainfall.

Continued inspection and testing will be conducted upon resumption of fill activities.
