Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services.  Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

On the above date our representative was on site to observe proof-rolling of sub grade soils on the Old Griffin Road relocation between stations 0+00 and 5+00 using a loaded tandem dump truck having 18.5 tons of base stone. The contractor made two passes over all areas and areas having moderate to severe movement under traffic were painted for repairing by undercutting. The following dimensions were observed and painted for repair replacing with additional base stone.
