Observations/Finding

On the above date the writer was onsite as requested and observed proof rolling of sub base stone placement at west side lane relocation after sub grade repairs were made. The sub base stone was proof rolled using a loaded tandem dump truck having 20 tons of base rock making two passes over all areas.The sub base proof roll was observed between station # 0+00 and 5+00. The proof roll appeared stable under traffic with no apparent movement and was approved for asphalt paving.The observations were also made with Paulding county and the contractor ECG.
