Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials
submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

Our ASEC representative was on site to observe the contractor and for the observation/testing of the placement of fill/backfill.

According to another ASEC representative, the contractors requested ASEC to be onsite at 9:00am for DCP testing for the footing for the retaining wall located on the NW end of the site. Upon arrival to the site at 7:30am, the contractor had already placed No. 57 stone in the footing of the wall and began installation of the rebar. When speaking with the contractor, they stated that the section they were working on was the end of the wall (left side when looking at the pond) and that it had already been tested for bearing pressure and passed. ASEC then left the site.
