Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services.  Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

On the above date our representative was on site to observe continued soil placement for building Lots #41 and 42 and for the slope embankment at the old detention pond. Also observed the pipe contractor on-site installing 30″ CMP storm line between manholes #G1 and G2. Our representative made two site visits (1 each in the morning and afternoon). The writer assisted another representative from AS Engineering in performing density testing at building Lots #41 and 42 using a Troxler nuclear density gauge model 3430. Compaction results were suitable as per job specifications.
