Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services.  Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

On the above date our representative was on site to observe the grading contractor continue placing fill for building Lots #42 and 41 and for embankment fill for the old detention pond. The fill for the building lots were observed by proof-rolling using a loaded off roar dump truck and probing using a rounded end steel rod. The compacting efforts appeared to be below job specifications with noticeable high moisture contents. It was recommended to aerate by discing and recompacting (and retesting later). The pipe contractor continued installing 30″ CMP storm at G line.

We appreciate the opportunity to be of service to you on this project. If you have any questions regarding this report, please feel free to contact us. We will be more than happy to discuss it with you.
