Daily Field Report
Observations/Finding
As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.
On the above date our representative was on site to observe the paving contractor continue subgrade and subbase preparation for Nature Walk Parkway. The contractor placed contract base stone and extra base stone at recommended undercut areas and also placed geotextile stabilization fabric (approximately 155′ length x 13′ width) at recommended saturated areas on the lower side lane between sanitary sewer manholes #6 and 7.
The grading contractor began subgrade preparation removing above fill subgrade materials from Nature Walk Parkway between sanitary sewer manholes #9 and 10 stockpiling these materials at unit 4 phase 3.
The blasting contractor made a shot today at building Lot #37 (see attached blast log).
The pipe contractor continued installing 30″ CMP storm line at A line unit 4 phase 3.
We appreciate the opportunity to be of service to you on this project. If you have any questions regarding this report, please feel free to contact us. We will be more than happy to discuss it with you.
