Observations/Finding

As requested, the site was visited by our AS Engineering and Consulting (ASEC) representative for the purpose of providing quality control inspection and testing services. Visual observation techniques were employed to verify compliance with project drawing/specifications, applicable codes, and materials submittals. The following observations were observed on site this day.

Crew continued work by installing a manhole at A8 along with the risers. Additional riser installation work was also carried out at Manhole A7. Backfilling operations around the structures continued in lifts of 6 to 8 inches and were compacted using a sheep-foot roller. Compaction around the manholes and risers was performed using a double drum roller.

On the other side, the crew continued removing topsoil at Lots #61, 62, and 63 to the required depth in preparation for upcoming grading activities.

At the Buford neighborhood site, the crew continued trench excavation using a hydraulic excavator equipped with a rock grinder.
